About the job
We are seeking to recruit 2 Assistant Educational Psychologist to compliment and strengthen our existing team.

In the role, you will work closely with our team on a variety of supervised tasks, such as
  • Working with children and young people on wellbeing interventions
  • Supporting children and young people's development through learning interventions
  • Contributing to the creation and delivery of training packages
  • Engaging in Service evaluation and research activities that support evidence-based practice

This will involve working alongside Educational Psychologists, Trainee Educational Psychologists and Specialist Teachers within the Inclusion Service.

This post would be suitable for someone hoping to progress their career in the field of Applied Psychology.

What We Are Looking For From You
You must be able to demonstrate the following essential requirements:
  • A first class or upper second-class honours degree in Psychology or the equivalent (conferring graduate basis for registration with the BPS)
  • Experience of working successfully with children and young people in an educational or other relevant context
  • Knowledge of additional learning needs
  • A high level of written communication skills
  • A high level of oral communication skills and the ability to make presentations to a wide range of audiences
  • Good listening skills
  • The ability to analyse and evaluate quantitative and qualitative data and report findings clearly and succinctly
  • That you are well organised and self-motivated
  • That you are able to build and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of people
