Flying Start is a Welsh Government initiative, which seeks to offer support for targeted pre-school children and their families, living in designated areas of deprivation. Flying Start offers children access to high quality childcare as part of a multi-agency team approach, in order to improve outcomes in preparation for school and the long term.
We are looking to appoint an excellent Flying Start Senior Childcare Worker to support the Flying Start Manager and deputise in their absence. You will need relevant qualifications and experience of management in childcare settings as well as lots of enthusiasm and a passion to support children and families within the community.
You will be responsible for the operational management and organisation of the childcare setting, along with the Flying Start Manager, and will manage and support the Flying Start childcare team in order to help maintain the high standards already established.
