We currently have a vacancy to work 5 hours a week onsite. The role will include such roles as locking up the building at the end of the day. Maes Derw caters for 158 pupils from across schools in Swansea aged between 5 - 16 years. All of our pupils have mental health, anxiety or social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD) and so, recent and relevant experience of working with pupils who have social, emotional and behavioural needs is essential.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) from 1st April 2016.
As this post is term time, they are subject to a term time only adjustment if the commencement of employment is outside of the academic year start and end date, for instance, 1 September/31 August.
