Working Hours: 14 Hours per week (2 days per week) | 52 Weeks per year (Term-time only could be considered for the right candidate)

Torfaen Pupil Referral Unit opened in June 2009 to provide education for children and young people experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavioural difficulties, those who have been permanently excluded or are awaiting a managed move, or those whose anxiety or medical needs prevent them from attending school.

We are looking for an experienced Bursar (Senior School Officer) to job share 2 days a week to help with the smooth running of the PRU. This is an interesting, varied and wide-ranging role but will be mainly focused on; facilities management, health & safety and GDPR over 3 sites.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and committed person who is able to form positive, professional relationships with colleagues, pupils, parents, carers and multi-agency partners.

It is essential that prospective candidates possess the ability to prioritise operational activity effectively within a dynamic and sometimes stressful professional context, and are committed to continuing professional development.
