Grade 3 - £22,737 for 25 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £15,653.95 pro rata

This is a fixed term position required for 25 hours per week until 31/08/2025 to work alongside the Class Teacher as a class-based Learning Support Assistant (LSA).

Working under the direction of the Classroom Teacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will provide support for pupils working within a year group. This will take the form of assisting the Class Teacher through participation in whole-class, small group and individual teaching of pupils. You will also be expected to assist in the preparation of materials and displays, clear away resources as required, and contribute to the delivery of the individual education plan (IEPs) that are in place for pupils within that class.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has high expectations of both the learner and themselves;
  • Has experience in supporting children within a classroom setting (experience of supporting children with additional needs would be desirable)
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a dedicated and professional team;
  • Can use their initiative and work collaboratively and flexibly within a team
  • Has a patient and caring manner
