Fitness Assistant - Blaenavon Active Living Centre

Cyflog: Grade 3 | SCP 6 | £23,893 Pro Rata | £12.38 Per Hour

Blaenavon Heritage VC Primary School has been open since September 2011 and pupils moved into the new building in April 2012. The school provides a state-of-the-art technology rich learning environment for up to 450 primary aged pupils and 130 nursery aged pupils. The campus provides community leisure facilities including a sports hall, dance studio and fitness suite with Technogym CV and resistance equipment. The school has a Church in Wales religious character.

We are looking for a Fitness Assistant to assist in the efficient and safe operation of the Fitness Suite ensuring the highest levels of customer service are attained and assist in the development of safe and structured exercise programmes that will maximise usage and income within the fitness suite. Applicants should have an excellent understanding of health and safety issues and be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a flexible approach to work.
