The Headteacher and Governing Body at Clytha Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Grade 3) to join our happy school. This will be a permanent post and will commence on the 1st September, 2024 or as close to this date as possible. • Holds the relevant TA L2 qualification or is working towards this

The appointment process will involve an observation and an interview with the Headteacher, Deputy Head teacher and a member of the Governing Body.

The Governing Body and Local Authority are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS). This post requires you to be registered with the EWC.

The post is offered on a part time basis of 37 hours per week, over 39 weeks per year (term time only). Hours of work will be Monday to Friday from 8:45am-3:45am with 30 minutes given unpaid for lunch. Holidays must be taken during school holiday periods. There is also an expectation that you would be involved in an After School Club and attend Professional Learning Meetings, INSET days and be part of all aspects of school life.
