Lliswerry High School is a thriving, multi-cultural, 11-18 mixed comprehensive school on the eastern side of Newport close to the M4. We currently have a superb opportunity for an inspirational teacher to join our successful English team.
We are looking for an excellent NQT or experienced practitioner who will motivate and inspire our learners through their passion for English. The person appointed will teach across the age and ability range and be a key part of the supportive and successful English Team.
It is anticipated that the person appointed will:
• be an excellent classroom practitioner
• possess excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills
• demonstrate high standards of professionalism in all respects
• be a positive role model to colleagues and learners alike
• possess ambition, belief, resilience, determination and a sense of humour
• possess the ability to motivate and inspire learners and to build positive relationships
• have high expectations of themselves, colleagues and learners
• be committed to their own professional learning
• have the ability to develop excellent working relationships with all stakeholders
• be able to use data to support learner progress effectively
• be committed to the vision of our school
