Maindee Primary School are looking to appoint a Level 3 teaching assistant on a permanent basis. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible and well-qualified individual to support the work of the school. Experience in a primary school is desirable.

We are looking for a committed and passionate person who can support the development of provision for pupils from age 3 - 11 years. This may also involve supporting with intervention groups linked to Speech and Language Development, Wellbeing Programmes such as ELSA, thrive etc or support for early Literacy and Numeracy development.

Please outline in your application your specific qualifications, knowledge and school based experiences that are relevant to the post. It is essential that you are open to change and flexibility.

The working hours are set out as 8.30 - 3.30 daily with a requirement to stay for two one hour meetings per week making the role at 34.5 hour a week position. The post is advertised to start on 1st September 2024.
