The Headteacher and Governing body are looking for a highly motivated, friendly and enthusiastic school support officer to work in partnership with the school community.

The successful candidate will be able to work calmly under pressure, developing and nurturing relationships with all of our stakeholders. You will be the first point of contact for parents, children and visitors entering or telephoning the school and it is essential that you have a calm, friendly manner and enjoy working with both adults and children and possess excellent communication skills.

You will be required to:

-Maintain manual and computerised record / information systems
-Undertake typing, word processing and other IT based tasks
-Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
-Undertake financial administration procedures
-Undertake Breakfast Club supervision (8am-9am daily)

The position is permanent and is offered as follows: 35 hours.

Pattern of Work: Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:30pm.

Holidays must be taken during school closure periods. The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
