Llanwern High School is seeking to recruit a Pastoral Support Officer to provide support in addressing the needs of students who need support to overcome barriers to learning. The role will support individuals and groups of students to enable access to learning.

Llanwern High School is a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school that serves much of the eastern side of Newport. It is housed in a modern building that provides a learning environment appropriate for a 21st century education. There are approximately 1000 pupils on roll with pupil numbers envisaged to grow in the coming years. Llanwern High School provides a high level of support and offers a positive and welcoming working environment, excellent staff wellbeing and professional development for all employees.
