Vacancy for Teaching Assistants – 2 posts

Grade 3, SCP 5-6 £23,500 - £23,893 pro rata (1 year fixed term)

St David’s RC Primary School are seeking to appoint 2 Teaching Assistants (Level 2) to work in our school on a fixed term one-year contract from 8th April 2024- 31st March 2025.

Your duties will include:

• providing support for the pupils in class, under the guidance of the teacher
• supporting interventions and small group activities, including 1:1 support
• supervision at break and lunchtimes will be required daily
• undertake training as required

The post is offered on a full-time basis (8.30am -4pm) Monday-Friday term time only. You will not be expected to work Training Days. Holidays must be taken during school holiday periods.

Experience of working in a Key Stage 2 classroom is desirable. Evidence of professional development would be an advantage.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
