Stakeholder Engagement Manager
Our successful business is seeking a stakeholder engagement manager to successful lead and motivate our Employer Engagement Team to plan and accomplish goals with contract starts, employer placements and into employment targets. The Stakeholder engagement manager would report to Head of Apprenticeships but will also be expected to work with the Senior Management Team on implementing strategic plans and operational goals.
Salary Banding: £40,000 - £45,000
Location: Cardiff, Itec House
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours of work: - Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm

What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• Accountable for monitoring the achievement of monthly KPIs
• Forecasting, and monitoring income against agreed budget profiles.
• Developing new business relationships with employers and stakeholders to promote our full range of training and employability solutions.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key employers.
• Responsible for building and managing a strong prospect pipeline.
• Supporting employers across Wales as the first point of contact to deliver effective account management and maximise business opportunities
• Responsible for engagement with our Marketing department to execute Marketing campaigns, contributing to Social Media activity and attending external events
• Accountable for the on-going development of an employer engagement strategy. Focusing on new business development and identifying new priority sectors and geographic areas for all areas of contracted provision.
• Planning and attending relevant networking events to promote Itec and all our services.
• Accountable for engaging with SMT colleagues about overall strategic direction.
• Accountable for conducting Monthly performance review and annual appraisals
• Responsible for providing support to team members in CPD, monitoring team member absences and department staff recruitment.

What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?

Essential criteria

• Demonstrable experience of working in a target focused environment
• Experience of leading and developing a Sales team
• Proven track record in managing a successful Sales Team
• Knowledge of Welsh Government Contracts
• Safeguarding Knowledge and understanding

Desirable criteria

• Experience of the government funded landscape for pre- and post-employment funded programmes
• Experience of the main Microsoft packages in a work environment
• CRM software experience and understanding
• Management / Team lead qualification or equivalent

This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company

The successful appointment will need to be self-registered with the Education Workforce Council as a Work-Based Learning Practitioner
