Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £23,152 - £23,930 per annum
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Location: Dumballs Road, Cardiff

Cardiff and Vale College are looking for two Quality Improvement Administrators to be primarily based at our City Centre Campus in Cardiff. You will work as a part of a small team supporting our Quality Department. Some of the specific duties of the role include:
  • Receiving Staff Development requests and checking for eligibility against Staff Development Policy and Procedures.
  • To be responsible for data entry on all professional development and training activities, including Skillgate, our internal LMS system.
  • Evaluation of the above and reporting monthly to the Head of Quality, including Staff development days.
  • To organise travel arrangements and accommodation as required for external courses.
  • To process claims for professional development and monitoring invoices against the budget, reporting monthly to the Head of Quality.
  • Monitor and update Policies and Procedures ensuring that they are up to date and uploaded on the Staff Portal and College website.
You will have a sound educational background with good literacy and numeracy skills. You'll be experienced in using Microsoft Office products and possess a high level of organisational skills including ability to prioritise workloads in line with varied deadlines.

You will be a confident communicator and comfortable with communicating both orally and in writing, with staff, students and outside organisations. You will have a commitment to continuous quality improvement and understand equality of opportunities.

The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh would be advantageous but not essential for the role.
