Job Description

This is a fixed term temporary position for 28 hours per week, until 31 August 2024.

Grade 3 - £22,737 for 28 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £15,114.16 pro rata.

Ysgol Gelli Aur/ Golden Grove School is a respected, successful dual stream primary school situated in the vibrant town of Pembroke in Pembrokeshire. In this role you will work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom, as well as providing general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

We are looking for a LSA who:

  • Has high expectations of both the learners and themselves
  • Has the ability to inspire and build on high standards of pastoral care
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team.
  • Can use their initiative and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Has the ability to confidently teach Welsh as a First Language.
