Fenton Community Primary School is seeking a full time successful primary teacher with excellent infant (3 – 7 years of age) experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic and reflective practitioner, who has a strong commitment to child development and improving and excelling at teaching for our infant pupils.

You will join us at a time of exciting development at Fenton, as we have recently embarked on a new direction with our curriculum and approaches to teaching and learning used at the school following our Estyn Inspection. The new candidate will join us on our journey of improvement and receive rich opportunities for professional development

We are looking for someone who meets the person specification in the job description and who:
  • is a high-quality primary practitioner with successful experience of teaching pupils from nursery – year 2 and has high aspirations for pupils
  • has successful experience of improving pupils' skills and experiences in the outdoors
    • is passionate and knowledgeable about pupil's learning and development, and applies that knowledge in the classroom to secure the best progress possible for all learners
    • has a detailed knowledge and understanding of pedagogy, and is engaged with the learning experiences that are central to current curriculum reform.
