The role:
As a member of theWelsh Language Development Team, the post holder will play an essential role in the development and implementation of a high quality teaching and learning throughout the Welsh medium / bilingual curriculum acrossGower College Swansea campuses.

- Support, motivate and inspire staff in the implementation of the college's Bilingual Development strategy.
- To be a role model of good professional and innovative teaching and learning practice with a continual focus on raising standards and ensuring all staff participate in appropriate quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure that alllearnershave the opportunity todevelop their bilingualskills and where appropriate develop their confidence tousetheir Welsh languageskillsin theirassessments
- Work with staff to ensurelearners have the opportunity tostudy and complete work through the medium of Welsh orbilingually
- Experience of delivering through the medium of Welsh or bilingually.
- Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) grade C or above Welsh First Language
- Welsh Oracy (Listening/Speaking) Level 4 (Fluent)
- Welsh Literacy (writing/Reading) Level 4 (Fluent)
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, and the college is closed for two weeks over the Christmas period
