Class Teacher Year 5/6
1 year temporary contract until August 2024
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a conscientious, enthusiastic and highly qualified teacher, who is able to motivate and successfully teach classes across the primary phase. We would expect the successful candidate to have experience of using ICT as a teaching and learning tool competently across the curriculum.
Heol y Celyn is a successful, inclusive and supportive school with a good record of pupil achievements. We have a committed team of staff and dedicated governors, who aim to motivate and support pupils to enable them to progress and achieve their full potential. We therefore seek to appoint a teacher, who has the skills of an excellent classroom practitioner, with high expectations of achievement and behaviour. They must also contribute enthusiastically to the inclusive ethos and holistic experience of pupils, as well as contributing towards the school culture of continual improvement. We are also looking for a teacher, who has the ability to work within a strong team ethos and contribute to curriculum development. They must also aim to building positive relationships and work closely with parents, cluster schools and the wider community.
