The Headteacher and Governing Body of St Joseph’s RC Primary School are looking for an exceptional, innovative, vibrant practitioner who is committed to children's learning, wellbeing and the raising of standards. We are a creative and forward-thinking school with a highly committed, dedicated and hardworking team.
This is a permanent full-time post to start in January 2026 or as soon after.
The successful candidate will need to:
- be supportive of our Catholic ethos.
- have outstanding classroom practice and the ability to motivate and engage learners;
- be inspiring, creative, caring and full of enthusiasm;
- be highly motivated and hold equally high expectations of our children's achievements, their behaviour and skill development;
- work effectively as a member of our strong school team and contribute fully to the life of the school including extracurricular activities;
- lead an area of learning;
- establish and maintain positive relationships with our parents and carers, members of our Governing Body and our wider community;
- be able to effectively use ICT to enhance our children's learning; and be fully committed to promoting Welsh 2nd Language and the well-being of our pupils.

Where possible, lesson observations will take place at candidate’s current school. Where this is not possible, they will take place at St Joseph’s RC Primary School. These will take place following shortlisting.
