We are currently seeking a School and Community Team Leader to oversee our dedicated team supporting children, young people, and families impacted by the recent Tata and supply chain job losses.The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting a team of School and Community Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred interventions. You will ensure the effective delivery of services that promote resilience, wellbeing, and educational engagement for those affected by job losses and community change.
Working closely with schools, local authorities, and community partners, you will take a strengths-based, multi-agency approach to identify needs, develop action plans, and monitor progress towards positive outcomes for children, young people and families.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and guidance to the School and Community Support team.
* Oversee case management, ensuring effective planning, delivery, and evaluation of interventions.
* Support and empower staff to build positive relationships with children, young people, and families.
* Coordinate partnership working with schools, agencies, and community groups to ensure a joined-up approach.
* Monitor performance data and outcomes to inform ongoing service development and reporting.
* Lead by example in promoting a culture of compassion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
You will have:
* Proven experience in leading or supervising a team within youth, community, or family support settings.
* A strong understanding of the challenges facing families affected by redundancy, financial hardship, or social change.
* Experience of delivering and overseeing interventions that improve engagement, wellbeing, and resilience.
* Excellent communication and partnership-working skills to coordinate multi-agency support.
