An exciting opportunity!
The Governing Body of Marshfield Primary School is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an inspirational teacher and leader to join our team as Inclusion & Wellbeing Leader.
This is a unique role, with 50% leadership time and 50% teaching commitment. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, playing a central role in shaping the school’s strategic direction, championing wellbeing and inclusion, and strengthening our connections with families and the wider community.

About the role
The Inclusion & Wellbeing Leader will take strategic responsibility for provision for vulnerable learners, including pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Alongside this, you will lead on our whole-school approach to wellbeing, ensuring that children’s mental health, resilience and sense of belonging are at the heart of everything we do.
A key part of the role is family and community engagement. You will work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children, while also leading the school’s contribution to the creation of our exciting new on-site Community Hub, opening in 2026. This will be a vibrant centre for learning, support and partnership, bringing families and the school community even closer together.

This is an outstanding opportunity to:
- Lead on inclusion and wellbeing across the whole school.
- Play a pivotal role in developing the Marshfield Community Hub (opening 2026).
- Work closely with families, carers, and community partners to strengthen engagement and support.
- Combine classroom teaching with a significant strategic leadership role.
- Be part of a forward-thinking, supportive and ambitious senior leadership team.

About you
We are looking for a passionate, ambitious and dedicated leader who:
- Has a proven track record of excellent classroom practice.
- Has the skills and vision to drive inclusion and wellbeing across the school.
- Can inspire and support staff, pupils, and families.
- Is committed to developing meaningful family and community partnerships.
- Is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey within a supportive and successful school.
