Dunvant Primary is a vibrant, inclusive school. The school prides itself on its diversity and inclusive ethos. We are a Restorative Practice and a Rights Respecting School. The governing body is looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational teacher, initially to join our Year 5-6 phase team in Autumn 2024. Dunvant Primary has an excellent reputation for developing teachers into leadership positions and this is an opportunity for someone with initial leadership experience to further develop these skills. The successful candidate will be required to either lead an area of learning or another area from the school development plan. The right candidate will be offered opportunities to work alongside our senior leadership team.

  • Have a clear understanding of developing learner voice, pupil-led learning and improving wellbeing
  • Have effective ICT skills and can use these to enhance learning

All prospective applicants are invited to book a place on a tour of the school. These will be held on Monday 15 th July at 1:30pm or 4pm and Wednesday 17 th July at 1:30pm and 4pm. Candidates only need to book on one! There will be limited spaces available therefore a space must be booked in advance. This can be done by contacting the school office on 01792 207336.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to demonstrate their excellent teaching through lesson observations on either 10/11 th September 2024. Formal interviews will take place on 13 th September. Start dates to be agreed with the successful candidate, following selection.
