Level 4 Grade 6 (pt 11-17) £29,071 - £32,046 per annum (pro rata). 39 weeks - 27.5 hours per week. Please note that this salary is grant funded and subject to term time only adjustment if appointment date is after the start of the academic year.

We are seeking an outstanding individual who will take the lead in supporting the children and families in our local community. The successful candidate will:
- be committed to developing and improving the wellbeing of our children and their families
- have experience of using different support programmes to meet children's needs, such as ELSA and Play Therapy
- have high expectations for the children, their families and themselves
- carry out duties and responsibilities as set out in the job description
- have excellent communication skills and be committed to building positive relationships with the children, parents, staff and governors
- lead and oversee systems that promote good attendance and support the effective integration of our pupils
- support families to access services run by the local authority and other third sector providers
- take the lead in providing information, advice and parent workshops
- be able to work effectively as part of a team in conjunction with the headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, staff, children and governors
- be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community
Any previous experience as family liaison officer or working directly to support families in another role would be advantageous. The ability to drive and ownership of a car would be desirable.
