The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach AS and Level 3 Applied Diploma in Medical Science Qualification.

• Fractional 0.5 (18.5 hours per week)
• Fixed term until 31st May 2026
• £13,193 - 25,965 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) FTE £26,386 - £51,931
• Gorseinon Campus

Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team to develop and employ a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
• Monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback throughout the academic year.
• Ensure excellence in teaching and learning is a key priority for the College.
• Make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this subject area.

About you:

• Possess an undergraduate degree in Biology or equivalent subject.
• Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be working towards one.
• Able to demonstrate successful experience of teaching in a post-16 setting.
• A very confident communicator and committed individual who can manage and inspire learners of all abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and a team player.
