Location of post: Dyfed Road, Neath
The post requires the gathering and safe road crossing of pedestrians whilst crossing the road at or near the school.
This post is subject to an Enhanced Check from the Disclosure & Barring Service (Child). Main duties of post -
- The gathering of school pedestrians in preparation for road crossing.
- The control and direction of the pedestrians when gathered.
- The stopping of traffic when necessary
- Supervision of the pedestrians when crossing
- The reporting of matters connected with their duties.
Work Experience
- Previous experience working with road safety issues.
- Previous experience working with members of the public - both children and adults
- Ability to communicate with others.
- Ability to work to with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work to strict times and guidelines.
