Governors are looking to appoint an ambitious Business Support Assistant to work within the Business Team at Abertillery Learning Community. The successful candidate will be able to work well with a team and will be looking for an opportunity to gain, or further develop, an understanding of business and finance support within a school setting. Experience of working in a business environment and the ability to evidence strong ICT skills will be advantageous. Flexibility to work across campuses and to attend ad hoc meetings after the school day will also be a requirement.
In return, the successful candidate will benefit from working with an experienced, supportive, inclusive 3-16 team and a supportive Governing Body who work effectively together to bring about continuous improvement.
ALC is based in the town of Abertillery. It is comprised of a Secondary Campus and 3 Primary campuses, Six Bells Campus, Roseheyworth Rd Campus and Tillery St Campus. It is an exciting and unique organisation and, as a multi campus all through school, all staff are afforded a wide range of opportunities for carefully co-ordinated cross phase working that supports both learner and staff development.
