Clwyd Community Primary School: Flying Start Additional Support Worker

Cyngor Abertawe
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Clwyd Primary Buttercups Flying Start.

Flying Start is a Welsh Government initiative, which seeks to offer support for targeted pre-school children and their families, living in designated areas of deprivation. Flying Start offers children access to high quality childcare as part of a multi-agency team approach, in order to improve outcomes in preparation for school and the long term.

We are looking to appoint a full time Temporary Additional Support Worker to support the Flying Start Manager and Deputy in providing high quality child care provision in our Flying Start setting. You will need relevant qualifications, high standard literacy skills and prior experience of delivering childcare provision to children under the age of 3. You will also need to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for supporting children and their families as part of Flying Start and a community focussed school.

Application forms can be collected from the school office, the Flying Start setting and sent to either the email below or the school at [email protected]

Please return completed application forms to the school address above, either in person or via post, or alternatively email them to the Flying Start Manager [email protected] . If returning by post, please ensure you attach the correct postage as incorrect postage may mean that your application does not reach us.
