The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach UAL Performing Arts to our talented Level 3 and Level 4 Performing Arts learners at Gower College Swansea. You will work with learners aged 16-19 on practical, performance and theoretical work.
- Hourly paid - 12 hours per week

- £24,049 - £47,331 pro rata (depending on qualifications and/or experience)
- Gorseinon Campus
- To work with the team to deliver UAL Level 3 Performing Arts and UAL Level 4 Professional Diploma in Performance focusing on Musical Theatre. Ensuring excellence in teaching and learning across both courses.
- To keep up to date with examination board developments and ensure all external requirements are met.
- To work with the Curriculum Leader and Learning Area Manager to set targets and monitor performance in recruitment, attendance, retention, attainment and successful completion.
- Be a personal tutor and contribute to the pastoral care of learners.
- Possess a relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one.
- Are able to demonstrate highly successful experience of teaching Level 3 and Level 4 Performing Arts.
- A very confident communicator and committed individual who can engage and inspire learners of all abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills and a team player.
- The ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of learners.
- 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, and the college is closed for two weeks over the Christmas period
