The role:

To lead the Quality Team and be accountable for developing, implementing and monitoring continuous quality improvement and quality assurance strategies across the College.

Working closely with the Deans, LAMs and other leaders to lead on the effective delivery, monitoring and evaluation of teaching provision across the College. You will lead on the design and implementation of robust quality procedures, ensure consistent compliance and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide effective leadership for the department and motivate the team to deliver a high quality service to the college.
  • To be an active participant in the college's Senior Leadership Team.
  • To raise the profile of the Quality Team across the college and play a key role in developing a culture of continuous improvement.
  • To drive positive outcomes in performance against all quality key performance indicators in line with the college, WG, Estyn and Ofsted standards across all areas of the college business.
  • To develop effective systems for quality review and improvement.
About you:
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Degree or equivalent level 6 qualification
  • Minimum 5 years teaching experience
  • Knowledge of Estyn's inspection framework
  • Knowledge of FE/HE/ACL and WBL
  • Experience of improving quality outcomes and learner experience
