The Governing Body of St. Joseph's Catholic Infant School, Port Talbot wish to appoint an excellent and highly committed Teaching Assistant Level 2, who is sympathetic to the Catholic Ethos of the school, to join our skilled team of staff.

The post will require the successful applicant to work with groups of children and form part of a team of teaching assistants working across the Foundation Phase. This role also involves an additional 2.5 hours per week as a Lunchtime Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about working with children, able to support strategies aimed at maximizing learner outcomes, be a good communicator and team member. You must be caring, flexible and approachable in order to help motivate learners to succeed. It is important you are reliable and able to take responsibility and have the ability to work collaboratively.
